Burping the coolant system? First off, I don't run Dexcool. Only water + RMI-25 which was worked well for me over the years in my Grand National. Prior to the Camaro, I had an SSR (LS-2) that had all sorts of coolant ports that could be opened to bleed off any air in the system.To burp the cooling system on these cars, basically all you do is squeeze the upper and lower hoses until bubbles stop coming out. Only takes a second. The other thing that people say helps is putting the front of your car up on ramps and running it for awhile with the radiator cap removed. Share. Like.

It helps to use a spill proof funnel. Once the rad stops taking in coolant you have to run a heat cycle on the engine. The thermostat will open and try to pull in more coolant, all while purging some air pockets. Once the bubbles stop you should be good.
