Same with the light in the console. curious if you ever figured it out. We just bought a new one and having the same problem. 2020+ Explorer - 2020 explorer Console light stays on - 2020 explorer light under screen, light in the cubby by shifter and center console light are always on even with car off?If it was, it was upstream of the tiny 2 pin connector for the cup holder lights. In mine, red w/Lt. Green stripe was the constant +12v for the console outlet. I don't have an inverter but the wiring diagram says Lt. Green w/ Lt. Blue stripe for the turn-on signal and a Lt. Green w/white stripe is the inverter status indicator back to the dash.

Has anyone upgraded the center console light to LED. I have done the overhead lights and the high mount lights. Noticed the glove box light dims out after a few seconds being lit. I assume that's OK.
