i went from 31 inch E tires on my 75 to 36 inch Es and the ride is soooooo much better. the smaller tire will ride stiffer no matter what because theres less sidewall. thats if you were comparing E tires. going to a smaller tire with the same load rating is going to stiffen your ride, it just depends on how much by the brand and other factors..
