Mar 30, 2005 · I have used all but calyx, I just removed the manifolds off my 74 that I used vht 1500 degree cast paint 8 years ago and they look ok still, I used por on the elcamino 4 years ago they look better than the 74s, the eastwood stainless paint also held up fine I gave the unused portion to Dean for his 69 about 12 years ago.2. As Jim has pointed out-it is imperative that the manifold be clean and absolutely free of rust particles or oil from your hands. I used 3M's Prep-Sol to clean this particular exhaust manifold.
