I installed my own it's really simple. I bought new bolts that came with factory gaskets. Slide off the covers, remove the cover bracket, have a friend help place the roof rack into position to avoid scratches and bolt the rack on. I think the torque was 8lbs and I added silicone sealant to the bolt threads to prevent leaks.I wonder if someone who received an FJ from the factory without a roof rack, like a 2011 NSSE or whatever, could weigh in on what their covers look like.
