But if the wrong person does the blasting, they can destroy the frame, just make sure they turn the pressure down to around 75 pounds or less. You do have to prep the surfaces for POR-15 properly or it does come off. Sandblasting is fine and you don't have to take the frame down to bare metal. Sandblasting creates a textured surface for POR-15 to adhere to. I also used Metal-Ready to prep the frame after blasting.
